MultiChoice has made a very significant move in these hard economic times by slashing DStv subscription rates.

The announcement was made by the company’s chief executive officer that the prices have been decreased from 11 percent to 21 percent in a move to match the stressful environment while rewarding their viewers with additional high definition channels.

“As from November 1, 2016 the DStv Premium bouquet is slashed down to $72 with the benefits of shows from more than 20 HD channels now available to our viewers”, said operations manager Miriam Simbo who represented Mr. Mangwende.

The DStv Compact plus, which is going to be topped up with eight more channels namely Vuzu AMP, Lifetime, Discovery, Crime and Investigation, The History Channel, Africa Magic Showcase and the brand new ROK will be at $47.

DStv Compact viewers will now be paying $28 subscriptions with an addition of TCM, the Nollywood content filled ROK to top up the already added Premier League and La Liga.

Viewers are also going to pay $17 for the DStv Family package which is to be boosted with two more channels Eva and Fox.

Mr Mangwende described these changes as a defining moment in the African entertainment landscape which they are proud to be pushing to delight every television entertainment fan in Zimbabwe.
