If you are active on the social networks or listen to the radio often, you might have seen or heard the aforementioned bold statement by Gtel, a local smartphone company.
I really wouldn’t know how far true their claim is, however, definitely evident is that the company is growing and proving to be a force to be reckoned with.
If you go downtown in the capital, their phones are all over on the market. So with all that Much Ado About the gadgets and non-stop reminder of how the brand is ever so different from when it started off as Gtide I decided to take their newest phone, the A718 Infinity for a spin. I had such a ball it was instant chemistry!
Here are six reasons why this brand is everyone’s new best friend:
1. Supports all the cool apps that you can possibly think of
I went for Adrian Muparutsa’s show recently (just me, myself and my new best friend) and to say we had the best time ever would be an understatement. Oblivious to all that was going on around me I was busy snap chatting away, going on and off Instagram and Tweeting my heart out.
What more could a blogger ask for really? And not only that, I typed the rough draft of this article on the phone’s Notes App, and when I got to the office, all I had to do was email it to myself and voila!
The A718 also comes with Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, if I had wanted, I could have blogged this straight from my phone, only it had to pass by the editor so of course that wasn’t happening.

As much as we may all want to appear tech savvy, there’s always that here and there when you have no idea what’s going on with your phone. Let’s face it, not all of us can figure out everything. And what do you know? Gtel has a solution for that. In the comfort of wherever it is you may be, you can contact their customer care via an app on all their phones called the Gtel Customer Service. It’s got the calling, SMS, email and WhatsApp options.

The A718 Infinity is a sleek black animal with silver lining on the sides. Its light, fits into your palm, and if you don’t look expensive holding the phone, the problem is definitely you.
When I think about it, the A718 isn’t even Gtel’s first phone to turn heads. Every time they release a new phone, it always has SOMETHING. I remember hearing about the one phone with a rotating camera, and then there was another that is one of the slimmest in the world and just recently I heard of another that has a battery that can charge another gadget! Now how about that! #ZimbaNice
4. #Selfies
Living in the age of selfies fanaticism means a phone’s camera quality is the most important feature to most crazy heads. And with an 8.0MP rear camera, 5.0MP front camera and a three in one display (IPS+OGS+LTPS), taking pictures has never been more fun. On my part, it doesn’t help at all that my friends and I are such pic mad.
5. Space is pretty cool too
It comes with an inbuilt memory of 8GB and expandable to 128GB! What will you do with all that? Try movies and series. Did I mention you can literally WATCH movies and series on this phone! Watch online, offline or transfer stuff to it. All purpose phone isn’t even the phrase for it!
