Zimbabwe’s Museum of Human Sciences (Rotten Row) will once again host the festival on September 23 and 24, 2016. Festival Coordinator, Natalie Kombe, said that the venue is ideal for the festival as it is central and they are intending to make it the festivals permanent venue. Accord to the organisers, last year the festival had their highest attendance numbers and this is mostly attributed to the central venue.

Shokos Main festival partners this year are Embassy of Sweden and Norwegian Peoples Aid. There will be continued collaborations with  Unplugged Zimbabwe, Book Cafe, Simuka Comedy, Jibilika, Rap City, Let them Trust Schools Festival and Two broke Twimbos.
