The programme launched this week, and Vimbai, speaking from her new base in Johannesburg, explained, “Star Gist is an exclusive insight into the African entertainment industry: celebrity news, red carpet events, behind the scenes photo shoots, music videos and movies, etc. “
Star Gist will be primarily shot in Johannesburg but will include events, venues and stars from across the continent.

Vimbai’s co-presenter on Star Gist is Lawrence Maleka (22) from South Africa.
