Lifestyle, HIV Contribute to Spike in Zim Cancer Cases
Lynn Mpunzwana, a representative of the Cancer Association of Zimbabwe, speaking at the Pink Breakfast hosted by the Rotary Club of Highlands last week, said that poor lifestyle choices were some of the major contributors to a spike in Zimbabwean cancer cases. HIV is the other major cause of cancer in the country.
The Arcadia Community Centre in Harare recently brought together some of the heroes and heroines that have grown up among them in Zimbabwe and have gone on to make a difference nationally and internationally and had them talk to young people about protecting themselves from HIV.
