Ladies Pamper Thy Self Event days are designed to create a sanctuary where women can leave their day-to-day lives at home, and come to one place to shop, relax, meet their girlfriends and be entertained.
Spending some time and money on yourself, keeping up with fashion trends and just spending time with other women are very important things to do for every woman to ensure you don't lose yourself as time goes by and your life becomes filled with people who need and are dependent on you.
The day also provides female entrepreneurs a ready market for their products as there is an all day market where networking and sales take place.
According to a statement by Rudo Zindoga one of the organisers, “The idea behind the day, (which is really an afternoon and early evening) is to have female entrepreneurs who sell female focused products; shoes, handbags, clothes, make up, photography, accessories and more to set up stalls offering these goods at reasonable / justifiable prices and having ladies come to the event to shop, have beauty treatments, indulge in delicious (and some fattening) foods with their girlfriends and have a 'ME DAY' where work, husbands / boyfriends, children, parents whoever they are normally responsible to / for and living for are left at home / the office and they get to just focus on themselves for a day!”
Entertainment lined up for the day include the talented soulful vocalists Krewkid and Prayersoul. Proceeds from their show will go towards Matthew Rusike Children's Home.
The Chocolate Princess Company is a business that caters to women and the companies that desire to interact with them.
So come, get your nails done, get a facial, indulge in a full body massage, network, laugh and just have a good time with the girls.
