For one night only, the comedian commonly known as “the Cousin” intends to crack some rib cages. The comedy veteran Barry Hilton will grace REPs theatre on February 27, 2016.
David Barry Hilton is a Zimbabwean-born stand up comedian, actor and TV personality. Most Zimbabweans would remember him from Savanna Adverts – “It’s dry but you can drink it”, but there is more to him than that! He has toured several countries such as Hong Kong, The United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia among the many. In fact, his Zimbabwean show comes after a three city tour of Australia, with shows in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney.
The show will be brought to you by Reps Theatre in partnership with Xtratime Entertainment. Xtratime Entertainment also brought in Anne Kansiime late last year.
Xtratime Entertainment spokesperson, Tonderai Mwaira said, “We decided to bring Barry Hilton as his 30 years experience in Comedy speaks of how a Legend he is in the comedy space. He is very funny and entertaining .The icing on the cake is that funnyman Barry Hilton is a son of Zimbabwe as he was born in Zimbabwe”.
