Miombo Magic, the little festival with a big heart which takes place annually in Christonbank, just outside Harare, this year features two of Zimbabwe’s biggest names in music, Jah Prayzah and Mokoomba, alongside a host of other super talented, super successful artists.
There are a total of 50 bands performing and these include Victor Kunonga, Tariro neGitare, Gemma Griffiths, Macy & the Red, Djembe Monks, Transit Crew and Josh Meck.
Also on the lineup is Gemma Griffiths, whose set will include her now famous rendition of Winky D’s hit, ‘Murarova Bigman’.
Miombo 2016 runs from 27 (2pm) to 29 May. Tickets are available online at miombomagic.paynow.co.zw. You can also buy them at the door.
