Chiwoniso and Victor Kunonga performing  at the Adam Chisvo tribute show held at Alliance Francaise de Harare on Thursday, February 9, 2012.

Hope Masike opened up the show which was attended by about 150 people, followed by Chiwoniso and then Victor.

The evening ended off with all three artists doing several songs together on stage before they invited all the other musicians at the concert to come and join them for the last few songs.

This “Kiss on The Lips” themed Masquerade is the first ever party of its kind to be hosted in Zimbabwe which is why many party goers are excited about the event.

In an interview,the CEO of Redstate Jaydan Kharisma Savanhu said that they were going to make sure the Masquerade would be the event of the year.

“We are going to make sure that the Masquerade is the biggest party ever hosted in the country.

“All the parties we have hosted have never flopped and this time around we intend to give our followers an experience they will never forget”,  Savanhu said.

This is expected to be an explosive party as a number of talented DJs are set to keep the music pumping throughout the event.The DJs include Stonez who is a hip hop DJ at Numero Uno,Fyn from Red Fox and the Redstate duo,Active and Tyga who are house DJs.

Savanhu stated that his company was trying to come up with ideas to revolutionize party traditions in Zimbabwe.

“We want to introduce Zimbabweans to parties and events which they only think exist in Hollywood.

“This Masquerade is a good example of our creativity when it comes to party planning and we intend to leave a mark as one of the country’s best party hosts”, he said.

The party is set to get people in the Valentine spirit and is a great opportunity a have a good time with your loved one as we count down to the “red day”.

Redstate has hosted a number of parties which include Champaign Showers and the “Iam sexy and I know it” pool party late last year.

About 200 people including Chingono’s widow came to the event where poetry recitals from various poets and music from Chikwata 263 took all down the Julius memory lane.
