Car enthusiasts are in for a treat on November 12, 2016 as ZimTorque and ZAMOTA house their inaugral annual Auto Expo at Borrowdale Brooke Complex.
Themed ‘Hande/Asambe’ (meaning lets you go) the expo’s main aim is to show customer appreciation and creating brand awareness on vehicle maintenance and purchasing options. It will showcase high spec vehicles that are currently on the market and also vehicles currently being sold and driven in and around Zimbabwe.
Some of the brands that will be showcased include Croco Motors, Cloverleaf Nissan, Zimoco, Tiger Tyres and many other key players in the motoring industry.
To add to the customer experience, the expo will have various treats, “Customers currently driving high spec vehicles can also enter several competitions that will be held on the day such as most well-maintained vehicle and most pimped up ride among others.” said James Makombe, a representative of Auto Expo.
“The Expo will also hold appreciation dinner awards a week later in which participating Companies will reward their best customers for the year. The venue for the Awards will be announced at the Expo,” he added.
Borrowdale Brooke Complex will host the expo from 8am to 5pm and entrance is for the general public. This will be the first time such a show has been held at the Old Mutual owned Shopping Mall and the show will also seek to instigate activities at the Borrowdale Brooke Complex.
There will be a variety of entertainment options including a live band by Taurai ‘The Betterman’ Mandebvu.
