Zimbabweans surely know how to have fun. Every month, guaranteed, an event takes place.
November is not going to be any different. The month will ring in the ‘Braai November Festival’ at Lake Chivero (Fish Eagle). The name ‘Braai November’ comes from the concept that the month of November marks the beginning of the festive season.
According to the organisers, Ecrag Group, the festival will see various meat companies and musicians coming together for an epic event.
“In line with our mission to provide developmental opportunities to empower young people to create positive impact, our objective is to also promote local products and services as well as to increase destination competitiveness in the region through trendy and fun activities such as the Braai Master Competition, Fishing Competition, Beach Volleyball and Eating Competition,” said festival co-founder, Tawanda Madzara.
The event will not be just about meat on braai stands, but also about music. An exciting list of DJs and local musicians has been put together to entertain the crowd. The list includes DJs such as Eve, PhatChild, Sadiq, Professor, Yung Fresh, Tk Beatz, Jerry Springer, Browns, Dean Ultra, Ash Styles and Nivek, Troubles (Body Slam), Fujee, Lil Zie, CC, Panda, Alpha, Izzy H and Tanaka.
Local musicians set to perform at the event include Mc Chittah, Myke Pimp, Quality, Tipsy Mubhanditi, Ninja Kid, Avery, D-Mic, Queen Kadijah, Innomas, Toxic, Prout, Trae Yung, T Gonz, Briss Mbada, PTK, Empress Shelly and Ninja Lipsy.
