M-Net will, on July 1, launch a brand new channel ‘M-Net Movies Smile’ (DStv channel 105). They will also revamp ‘M-Net Movies Showcase’ (which will move from DStv channel 108 to 107).

M-Net will also remove three of the existing movie channels:  ‘M-Net Movies Comedy’ (DStv channel 104), ‘M-Net Movies Family’ (DStv channel 105) and ‘M-Net Movies Romance’ (DStv channel 107)from the DStv bouquet.

DStv Compact Plus and Compact subscribers are set to benefit from these changes with the addition of ‘M-Net Movies Stars’ which will bring viewers more entertainment with the best of Hollywood blockbusters. Viewers are in line for a treat with the upcoming high-definition specs on ‘M-Net City’ (DStv channel 115) and ‘M-Net Movies Action’ (DStv channel 110).

Furthermore, Zee World will introduce five new shows. On July 1, get ready for ‘Krishi’ on (DStv channel 166), this a story of a woman who rises from modest beginnings to a successful career. Krishi Raj dreams of becoming a block development officer, her financial status however makes it difficult for her to afford a decent education.

For drama lovers look out for the ‘Silver Lining’ on July 26, and ‘King of Hearts’ on July 29. There is also more fresh Zimbabwean content on Zambezi Magic ; shows to look out for include ‘Far from Yesterday’, ‘Celebrate Life’ and ‘Wedding Diaries’.
