Following the postponement of the 18th NAMA ceremony, Minister of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation, Hon. Kirsty Coventry has apologised for moving the date of Zimbabwe’s premier Award ceremony NAMA from March 23 to April 13, 2018.
The 18th NAMA has been postponed. This was revealed in a statement released by the organising committee of the prestigious Arts awards ceremony.
In an economy that is struggling as much as Zimbabwe's, we need to see the government reach deep into its bag of ideas and reach out into the community for other ideas to stimulate the economy.

Last week, we posted a question on our Facebook page, asking our readers what the new Minister of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation, Hon. Kirsty Coventry, needs to focus on to push arts and culture forward. The responses we received have us a little concerned about the enormity of the task that Coventry faces and led to a number of other questions which we hope she can answer, with her actions more than her words.
