Filmmakers of Zimbabwe present the 15th annual International Images Film Festival for Women (IIFF). The programme begins on August 26 and ends on September 3 with a closing ceremony at the National Art Gallery of Zimbabwe.

Only two weeks ago, the reality TV show, ‘Simba Savannah’, launched on ZBC. This show promotes innovation through a competitive pitch process. Africa is pushing to make its mark on the world with home-grown solutions as part of the ‘local is lekker’ movement. Zimbabwe is certainly not going to be left behind in this conversation!
The Dante Alighieri Society (a local society promoting Italian culture and exchange in Zimbabwe) hosted a movie night at 6pm at Tristan’s Bar at 14 Aintree Rd. in Highlands.

Doing business in Zimbabwe is like living in a jungle, it is a case of survival of the fittest with lions lurking at every turn. For young entrepreneurs it is a very rough terrain. Nonetheless, five lions, (captains of industry) called 'Simbas' in the show, have thrived in this jungle and live to tell the tale. You can watch these entrepreneurs on the new entrepreneurship ZTV series called 'Simba Savannah'.
Zimbabwe will be taking its successful show ‘Battle of The Chefs Harare’ (#BC2016) to other countries on the African continent.
M-Net will, on July 1, launch a brand new channel ‘M-Net Movies Smile’ (DStv channel 105). They will also revamp ‘M-Net Movies Showcase’ (which will move from DStv channel 108 to 107).
