Zimbabwe’s Minister of Tourism, Engineer Walter Mzembi is African Tourism Minister of the Year. He was given this award at the recent Africa Investor (Ai) Tourism Investment Awards in South Africa which were part of the Africa Investor and Infrastructure investment Summit.

The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry will lead Zimbabwe tourism stakeholders to the 31st anniversary of the FITUR (International Tourism Trade Fair), to be held from January 19-23, 2011 in Madrid, Spain.
Zimbabwe was once again one of the Exhibitors at the China International Travel Mart (CITM) which ran in Shanghai China last week at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) Chief Executive, Mr. Karikoga Kaseke was the head of the Zimbabwe delegation to the event.
