DJ SquillaA number of things have come to a squealing halt recently for PowerFM's DJ Squilla. Firstly he was recently suspended from work for turning up drunk. Then two days later it was a literal case of squealing brakes when he lost control of his car and landed in a ditch.

The incident happened along Simon Mazorodze Road as Squilla was returning home in the wee hours of the morning after deejaying at an unnamed club.

It is not clear what caused the accident and if Squilla was sober when it happened.

Squilla escaped unhurt but his car was seriously damaged.

Last year he was involved in another bizarre vehicle incident. Despite telling fans earlier this year that he was leaving PowerFM, squilla has remained at the popular radio station.
