Rising comedian, Prosper Ngomashi a.k.a. Comic Pastor has dumped popular short video skit company, PO Box TV.
Comic Pastor is said to have landed a lucrative deal with Ghanaian star, Anne Kansiime, and will start featuring on her skits starting this April.
This comes less than a year after joining the company after its two pioneering acts, Bhutisi and Boss Kheda left after some boardroom squabbles.
Comic Pastor had come with his charm and gelled well with new faces, Gonyeti and Magi whom he was now flaunting as his wives and together the trio wowed the nation online and at various events such as the ZIMA awards, and Zim Dancehall awards.
He had also revived the company’s advertising strength which had dropped after the departure of Bhutisi and Kheda as they formed the PO Box TV Reloaded.
“We are really excited for Prosper,” said a representative of PO Box TV. “At the same time we are sad as it means we have been left with another gap to cover, but the journey continues for us and we wish him well as he will now be doing his thing for an international audience.”
