wadzie  - No need for graphic images   |2010-03-15 11:04:32
The first 3 pictures should be taken off the site- it is absolutely uncalled
for! Please accord some dignity to the families who are going through such a
horrible time, I must say this is very offending and you have just taken
photo-journalism to a very low level!!
JOSEPH SUOPELO  - self   |2010-03-15 11:27:09
you are right wadzie, there is no need for the graphics

i agree with you all, there is really no need fo the pictures. what happened to
respecting the dead? when michael jackson passed on did any of you see his
lifeless body. respect the two boys and more importanly respect their families.
its sad enough that he is gone without having to rub it in like that.

i agree with Wadzie, we dont need the whole of the world seeing those first two
pictures, wats their significance
anyway? they surely need to be removed of the
sight really

Don't see anything wrong with the pictures. The photographer shows respect by
not overtly showing the deceased at the same time depicting events at the
scene....Nothing wrong with that

those pictures are a reality we are facing.we shld nt be kept in the dark abt

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing
who to cling to
When the rain set in
And I would have liked to have known
you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever

Nyasha  - Wrong   |2010-03-15 14:22:20
people, journalism is not about being conservative. People need to know the
truth. Iti is only with using pictures that one can truly depict and grip what
has actually happened. Journalism is not about making light of issues of what
has occured and as harsh as it is you all need to accept that. Do not remove
those pictures. They are a wake-up call to all those that still think they are
'untouched' and 'safe' from all harm. The world does not revolve around you and
we need to accept that fact. As big of a fan as I am, and my condolences to the
Mtukudzi family, I think I am right in saying that we all needed the truth. Even
if it was in pictures.

the cruel hand of death
has punched our poor souls again.
May your soul REST IN PEACE little brother.
Michael Edwards  - SAM MTUKUDZI PICTURES   |2010-03-15 17:43:05
How can a level headed person put such pictures so early in public domain? This
shows he is a heartless evil idiot to put pictures of a coffin when people are
still fresh from the terribly unfortunate death of their loved one. Its a tabboo
to take pictures and make fun of such a tragical event. Remove those pictures
and leave the bridge, kwana shamwari and be sensible. You are so low level and
you act like you are not mentally well. l think you are happy these two lovely
people died, take your pictures of you buffon. This will come to haunt you l
swear!!!!
Shingi Mhepho  - Michael, your language was unecessary   |2010-03-23 20:18:36
Hmmm...Michael, cursing a person for doing their job in such an unecessary
fashion was uncalled for, and actually brings your own temperament into
question. There is no "set time" to convey the reality of death, and I
am almost certain that close relatives are far too shocked and overwhelmed truly
grieving the deaths of these young men, than to have time searching the internet
to see whether the ZRP Mortuary coffins are displayed on the internet! A lot of
us are unable to pay our respects, and these pictures create a perspective as
fans who want to celebrate his life by honestly acknowledging his death. As for
your references to taboo and hauntings whilst cursing other people, perhaps you
should leave your rudeness to that; but when it comes to suggesting that the
publisher is "mentally unwell", "is an idiot" or a
"bufoon", please moderate your language! The only thing you need to be
swearing...

maybe your pathetic mind would understand the magnitude of this tragedy and u
wouldn't share such a cruel joke.To the Mtukudzi family my deepest condolences

Those pictures are only bad on "Invasion of Privacy" but the family
would have to enforce it and only them...and I still find them irrelevant, for
those who say they are for "grieving" and being part of the funeral or
whatever, that's what memorial service is for, with Pleasant pictures in respect
to the dead and the ones left behind, who doesn't know a dead person is taken to
the morgue? Ignorance and reality and different people...peace...RIP SAM

least. here we are only seeing coffins, policemen etc etc. May Sam's soul in

ropafadzo m  - Pictures tell it all   |2010-03-16 04:53:51
The pictures that accompanied the story on SAM were great. That was journalism
at its best...capturing the event promptly. The pictures merely wanted to show
that death is final...to see is to believe. I am so hurt abut his death and
seeing his death put my mind to rest. It is final. lets not argue over silly
matters and concentrate on praying for his father and mother. can you imagine
the pain they are undergoing? Lets remember and celebrate Sam Mtukudzi's life
that was plucked prematurely...

Caution? That road has so many potholes that the only caution you can
exercise is to not drive on it at all, but he drove on it cause that was the
only way home.
