Top Zimbabwean creatives have partnered with a new online job platform titled Keeksy, to help connect people looking to hire service providers directly with the people that offer services.

Keeksy is a fully dedicated job finding service focused solely on events such as weddings, corporate functions, birthdays and parties. The service uses an ingenuitive web platform and the power of the internet to connect people directly.

“The complexities of putting a successful event together in Zimbabwe’s rapidly evolving economic climate is a truly stressful task. Who do you hire? How can you be assured of the quality of their work? How do you handle payment? Keeksy is an online platform designed to connect Zimbabwean freelance service providers to those looking to hire skilled service providers for their events. Service providers subscribe to the platform, create a profile and post up the job/s that they can do, while clients browse or search for the services on offer and hire based on descriptions and ratings,” said Keeksy’s PR team.

For now signing up for Keeksy is  free.

However, some time next year Keeksy users will be charged a flat rate of $10/month while people looking to hire Keeksters will be charged nothing.

Some of the creatives Keeksy has partnered with are radio host and MC Tonderai Katsande, fashion influencer Gilmore Moyo, musician Fungai Nengare, DJ’s Reverb7 and RayDizz, makeup artist Gamuchirai Myanika, and photographer Tino Nyandoro.

“I am so excited about this very convenient platform as it will not only connect demand to supply but above all it will help the market access keeksy-approved, certified and genuine service providers,” said  Katsande.

When asked about why she chose to work with Keeksy, makeup artist to the stars Gamu Manyika had this to say, “Keeksy will reach a broader audience, world-wide, and not just limited to Zimbabwe. And because it’s a hub of service providers alike, it will be an advantage for me because most clients prefer sourcing their service providers from one place.”
