Preparations for the 2009 edition of the Harare International Festival of the Arts are well on course and a full two weeks before the festival kicks off, the organisers have released the print and web versions of the programme.
^ Sharon Shambole (left), a backing vocalist for Victor Kunonga and Louisa Mlambo of the group African Destiny take a look at the programme. “We have managed to release it earlier than usual this year,” said Manuel Bagorro, founder and artistic director of HIFA. The first copies of the programme were distributed to journalists and partner organisations at a breakfast meeting yesterday. Print versions of the programme will be available from the box offices which open on Monday 20th April at Avondale Shopping Centre and in the National Gallery, Harare. Electronic versions of the programme are available for download from The Zimbo Jam downloads section as well as on the HIFA website. Share this page... |
