Over 56 000 tickets were sold at HIFA 2009 the festival organisers have revealed to The Zimbo Jam. In a year which festival Founder and Artistic Director, Manuel Bagorro, has described as the toughest one yet, the festival still managed to draw big stars and huge audiences.

Chingwa  - Which Local Perfomances?   |2009-06-06 18:46:43
Thanks to HIFA for being transparent and accountable. What bothers me though, is
that besides Alick Macheso and a few other artists who perfomed at this year's
festival,no feedback was given on how the 110 perfomances by local artists were
received by the 56000 plus audience. Zimbojam; please assist on this issue.
