the Friends of the gallery asks artists to danate works, that they then sale or

Highly relevant social content, powerful painterly skill, personal integrity and
above all commitment to exploration of reality and public expression rather than
seeking commercial gain - Masamvu's work belongs in the national collection!
Let's hope it doesn't disappear into the storage due to censorship. Let's see it
widely exhibited.
Lauryn Arnott  - Masamvu a great artist/poet like Marachera.   |2009-06-08 06:07:59
Misheck congratulations! Gallery Delta congratulations! Zimbabwe
Congraulations!
Misheck gave a very moving an articulate talk at the HIFA
'Zimbabwe arts in crisis'. It is wonderful that the National Gallery can support
and embrace this brilliant artist who has as much to say about the time and
place of Zimbabwe as did the Zimbabwean poet Dambudzo Marachera.
