Once upon a time there was a pretty young girl from Barbados who became an international music sensation. Three young fashionistas, Phidelma Makumbe, Evelyn Ruwoko and Precious Ndlovu have come together to put together a week of events to celebrate fashion in Zimbabwe. Titled Be Summer Fashion Week 2009, the event will run from 7 to 11 December 2009.

Regional and Internationally recognized catwalk and photographic model Priscilla Chigariro's long dream of giving back her fashion and modelling gift to her birth country will come to fruition next year when she launches Zimbabwe’s first ever fashion week.
