A scene from one of the films to be screened during Francophone WeekVarious Francophone countries represented in Zimbabwe will next week put on a number of activities to celebrate the annual Francophone Week. These will include film screenings, dictations and an awards ceremony for a schools French poetry competition that will see the winner getting an all expenses paid trip to France.

When American filmmaker Roger Ross Williams heard about her and her band all he wanted to do was to make a film about them and share their story of courage with the world. None of them ever imagined that they both would attend the 82nd edition of the Oscars to receive a golden statue for the 32 minute documentary.
