Currently running at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Harare is an exhibition entitled "A Round Solution". It features posters and other materials from around the world used in spreading the message of HIV and AIDS.
^ Above is one of a controversial series of posters from Swizterland. The translation for the main message reads: "Things getting wet? Never without it!" At the bottom it adds: "1. Don't penetrate without a condom. 2. Don't allow semen or blood in your mouth."
^ "Sex can wait. Because tomorrow is mine." (South Africa)
^ Another Swiss poster. "In for a holiday fling? Never without it!"
^ Left: "Women prefer men who can protect them. Condoms protect against the AIDS virus and STDs. (France)
^ "If you cannot find a condom your size, you are an an elephant. [Right corner] AIDS, Today we can do a lot, but we cannot do anything without you." (Reunion)
^ "Attraction. Seduction. Provocation. Prevention. Campaign for the prevention of AIDS." (Spain)
^ "Wherever your business takes you." (A third poster from the Swiss collection. The height of controversy. In a country where homophobia is rife, this poster was the centre of much discussion at the launch of the exhibition.)
^ "I am HIV positive. Your reaction? In Reunion one out of every two HIV positive people suffers from discrimination. No to discrimination." (Reunion)
^ Left: "Hope springs from the sharing of knowledge" (Country unknown)
The exhibition opened on 28 November and runs until 12 December.
