^ Zimbabwean actress Danai Jekesai Gurira pictured with Haaz Sleiman at the 18th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards at the Museum of Finance, Dec 2 2008, New York City. Danai co-stars with Haaz in The Visitor, an award winning film that about life as an illegal immigrant in the United States. The Visitor has won 7 awards so far including the Interfaith Award at the Brisbane International Film Festival 2008, the Silver St. George Award at the Moscow International Film Festival and the Grand Special Prize at the Deauville Film Festival 2008.
