Tafi Dube

^ Tafi Dube has been performing on the streets of Bulawayo for many years. He is blind in both eyes. In 2008 he released an album entitled Listen the Words I Say.

He does cover versions of songs by Don Williams, Ray Charles and other artists, and interspaces them with his own originals.

^ Dube now has a singing partner. Her name is Gertrude Munodawafa and she too is blind. The two can bee seen singing their hearts away, Monday to Saturday outside Pioneer House, cnr 8th Avenue and Fife Street in Bulawayo.

We spoke to them (21 April 2009) and they revealed that they are hoping to release a gospel album but are still seeking funds for its production.
