The Zimbabwe Writers Association is inviting you to a book reading event in on October 10, 2015 from 12pm to 4pm at the National Arts Council Music Centre in the ZIMSEC grounds, Mt Pleasant, Harare.
Selected writers will be being asked to read passages from other writers’ texts and talk briefly about them, saying why they like these passages. Dr. Esau Mangoya will be reading from various old poets like W.B. Chivaura and Solomon Mutswairo.
Fungai Machirori will be reading from Petina Gappah’s new book, ‘The Book of Memory’. Titus Moetsabi will be reading and talking about how he survived through poetry during his long and eventful stay in West Africa.
