“Boss Ice and I have mobilized Zim Spinners, a group of Zimbabwean burnout and spinning teams to participate in the initiative,” said Fuzzy L.

“We got all Zim spinning teams, Gusheshe fanatics to give back to the community by hosting an event to raise funds and clothing for the less privileged.

“We burning rubber to create warmth in the form of blankets food and clothing for orphans and the elderly,” he added.

The event is slated to take place at Arcadia Sports Club on June 30.

Fuzzy L also shared with us the brief history of how burnouts started in the country saying, “Burnouts were started in 2009 by a group of BMW enthusiasts, Goofa, Fat Cat, Alister and myself. They have grown into a national sport with a huge following of up to 5000 people at an event.

“The last biggest event being triple threat burnout hosted by Fuzzy L and Cavassy on November 25, 2017. Over the years several teams have come into the game under our guidance and training.”
