Hailing from a musical background, Tapfumanashe is nephew to the late urban music legend, Fortune Muparutsa.

The musician revealed that the latest single is not his first release.

“My first studio release was a song called ‘Terera’, which I wrote and produced. It features Clive Mono Mukundu on guitar and the late Adam Chisvo on percussion”

Narrating his journey and how he found his way to KalawaJazmee one of Africa’s most revered production houses, he said, “In 2013 I decided to cross the Limpopo and push my music in South Africa hoping to connect to the vibrant musical scene.

“Upon arrival I released a four track demo which had instrumentals that I self produced.

“The demo got to the ears of Archie Majola a renowned radio presenter in Durban and also former manager of the Big Nuzz trio.

“Upon hearing my demo he started exciting some seasoned artists and ultimately met up with L’vovo who later agreed to work with me.”

The song whose video is under production is part of a series of collaborative projects that the artist hopes to release soon.
