Thatha Wena television show host, Mbo Mahocs is set to be one of the hosts for this year’s Bulawayo Arts Awards slated for Saturday May 26 at Large City Hall.

The Mzansi based Mahocs will co-host with Star FM’s Pathisani Sibanda, Master Eli and radio personality, Morris Touch.

“I am excited about hosting the Bulawayo Arts Awards this year. It is a huge reward I do not take for granted,” said Mbo Mahocs.

This will be one of the major events that she will be hosting since she moved out of Zimbabwe.

“About being the only lady on the stage, it does not make me feel any better about myself because it could have been anyone else. There are so many talented leading ladies in Bulawayo and Zimbabwe as a whole. It is simply Gods grace.”

Meanwhile, TV and Radio host, Gilmore Tee has been revealed as the anchor and co-producer  of the awards red carpet showcase.

He will be joined by Nyasha DIVA Mtamangira, Tsitsi Gumbo and Tinashe OkaMaskhosana.

“Last year I missed the awards and when the opportunity to co-produce the red carpet event and also be an anchor host, rose, I was extremely thrilled. It is such an honour to be part of this fast growing initiative, above all am really excited to be working with some of the best individuals in the industry. We promise magic,” said Gilmore Tee.

There will also be a fashion panel that will be making comments on those that would have walked the carpet. This panel is consisted of Star FM’s Nokuthula NOXY Sithole, Commercial Model – Marcu Kumbie, Fashion Stylist – Noelu, Radio Presenter – Mpumelelo LELO Moyo.
