Multi award-winning Afro-fusion group, Mokoomba keep sounding sweeter and sweeter with every performance they stage.
Like wine that matures over time, Mokkomba is also moving along the same trajectory.
Though it has been a struggle for them to get that one huge track that shakes the majority of Zimbabwe’s audience – it appears the boys are getting closer to achieving that after staging a fiery act on Friday at The New Ambassador Hotel.
Their playing has improved drastically – very coherent, and spiced up with some cool song arrangements that fuse a number of genres, making their sound very eclectic.
After the Friday show it was clear why they will be inducted into the Afro Pop Hall of Fame this May alongside acts such as Tuku, Mukanya and Salif Keita amongst many others.
