In the wake of the brutal death of Cecil the lion it is important for us to appreciate our wildlife.Zimbo Jam visited Mukuvisi Woodlands in order to support the upkeep of our beautiful wildlife and reconnect with nature at the monthly game walk.

Seeing the wildlife feed just meters away from the viewing platform is a treat that is affordable and accessible (we did not need a safari car to go only a few minutes’ drive to the beautiful woodlands).

The walk takes place the last Sunday of each month and is perfect for artists’ inspiration and a romantic morning getaway. After your eyes have had their fill, move on to your stomach and indulge in a delectable omelette from the Woodlands café. We certainly did.
