Paidamoyo Charlene Chituku was crowned Miss Zimbabwe USA 2018 at the recently held finale in Boston.

Chituku outmaneuvered seven other finalists to come out tops.

First and second princesses were Ntombi ‘Nomzamo Laura Jamela and Thembekile Mhlanga, respectively.

“As the reigning Miss Zimbabwe I guarantee this year is going to be a year to remember,” said an elated Chituku after being crowned queen.

“I promise to make a change within the Zimbabwean community, and to empower my fellow Zimbabwean sisters to follow their dreams and rest at nothing,” she added.

Chituku also highlighted that during her reign she would want to assist the girl child sharpen her entrepreneurial skills.

“My mum is an entrepreneur and that was how she was able to survive. Given that story, I was able to realise that women in that sector need assistance and Miss Zimbabwe USA has created a great opportunity for me to promote my dream,” she revealed.

Miss Zimbabwe USA is held as the main attraction of ZimExpo, and this year ZimExpo was sponsored by Barclays Bank Zimbabwe, Sendito, Ethiopian Airlines, Noir Models and Sadza.com and had over 15 other exhibitors.
