The PERMICAN Gospel Music awards are back for the 2016 edition and will take place on October 25, 2016 at the HICC. ‘PERMICAN’ stands for Prophets Emmanuel & Ruth Makandiwa Invitational Concert Awards Night.
The awards are hosted by Christ TV which celebrates its third anniversary this year.
To qualify for the PERMICAN’s, Zimbabwean artists or gospel musicians are supposed to submit their entries. Entries are officially open for Zimbabwean gospel musicians who are here and in the diaspora. The competition includes several awards – each artist may enroll in one or more categories of their choice. Entries must be sent to [email protected]. Submissions can be made online www.christtv.co. Submissions deadline is August 15, 2016 and nominees will be announced on September 1, 2016.
Awards will be presented to winners on October 15, 2016 at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC). Votes will be done through an SMS platform.
