Speaking Up For my Vagina

"We must speak up about our vaginas and the issues that concern them," assert a group of young women from an organisation called Katswe Sistahood which is spearheading frank discussions among women about sexual health and reproductive issues.

One of the complaints from women is that often nurses are not very professional when dealing with expecting mothers.

They hold regular group discussions in communities around Harare, known as Pachoto Meetings, where women talk openly about matters sexual.

They also perform their version of Eve Ensler's Vagina Monologues to various audiences, where performers do skits demonstrating the complex array of issues that surround that one body part called the VJJ.
