Econet subsidiary, Liquid Telecom is laying fibre all over Harare, and, if you want to hear the bigger story, all over Southern Africa. Their US$3,5 million project in Harare is part of a monster plan to create one of Africa's biggest terrestrial fibre networks.

 

You will have seen the men in blue work suits digging trenches everywhere. The idea? Unlimited data connectivity for every one in Harare, Zimbabwe, the region.
