Many Zimbabweans now shun the train service provided by the National Railways of Zimbabwe (NRZ), citing poor service, non-adherence to schedules and dilapidated train coaches. However the railway firm is still chugging on with daily trains to various destinations in the country at really cheap prices.
For example a one way economy ticket from Beitbridge to Bulawayo currently costs just US$7.

The NRZ was once on of Zimbabwe's most sought after employers and their train services drew passengers from all over the world. Their Blue Train service to Victoria Falls was a favourite among locals and tourists alike.
