Fairy Tale Wedding for Isibaya Crew Member

Beauty and Jesse Beauty and Jesse

#WEDDINGBELLS Zimbabwean filmmaker Beautie Masvaure married her longtime sweetheart, American academic, Jesse Alt, in an Oriental themed wedding at Lake Chivero on October 26, 2013.

Masvaure is currently based in South Africa and has recently worked as Script Supervisor on numerous popular TV series like Isibaya, Jacob's Cross and Zone 14.

The wedding was attended by notable arts industry personalities that included Comfort Mbofana, Prudence Katomene-Mbofana, Hope Masike, Comrade Fatso, Nakai Matema and Marian Kunonga amongst others. Filmmaker Rumbi Katedza was one of Masvaure's bridesmaids.

Masvaure is the niece of the late theatre legend Walter Muparutsa. She and Muparutsa were the founders of Global Arts Theatre Trust.
