Here Comes the Bride. Over 700 people packed the 7 Arts Theatre in Avondale, Harare on the eve of Good Friday for the annual Bride of the Year showcase. After last year's low key event, this year's show had some highlights worth noting. These included performances by some of Zimbabwe's top artists, Alexio Kawara, Fungisai Zvakavapano Mashavave and Sulumani Chimbetu. The Prisons Band also delivered some memorable renditions of old favourites like Rudo Imoto by Marshall Munhumumwe and Charakupa by Alick Macheso.
