Romain Virgo arrived in the country this afternoon. Local musician Jah Prayzah, Black Opal Face of Zimbabwe finalist as well as hundreds of fans welcomed the Jamaican hit maker at the Harare International Airport.
Speaking to the media, Virgo expressed how thrilled he was to be in Zimbabwe for the first time. He could not hide how happy he was to be performing at the Glamis Arena on Saturday.
The ‘Soul Provider’ hit maker also shared the inspiration behind his music–love.
“Love is something that I knew from birth. I grew up listening to love music. Love is the only thing that can save us as a people at the end of the day. Love is my religion that’s why I sing about love,” said Virgo.
Now that Virgo is here, what can go wrong? All is set for the 2016 Black Opal Face of Zimbabwe.
