The much anticipated Sinach show did not disappoint. The show included spectacular performances from the internationally acclaimed Nigerian singer and her supporting acts, Minister Michael Mahendere and ZimPraise.
Sinach was welcomed on stage by an eager audience, most of whom were watching her live for the first time in Zimbabwe.
The gospel singer came on the stage and began to sing, effortlessly, demonstrating why she is among the best gospel artists in Africa and arguably the world.
Her combination of a live band and powerful stage presence made for an unforgettable evening for most.
Minister Michael Mahendere also brought his ‘A’ game. He took the crowd to a world of praise then to another world of deep worship.
After leading people into a musical frenzy Mahendere stirred up an atmosphere of prayer. “Can we all lift our hands and pray. You don’t invite Minister Mahendere and then you don’t pray,” declared the Minister of God
ZimPraise also outdid themselves. They gave the crowd a spirited performance.
The event was graced by Minster of Tourism, Walter Mzembi and his wife together with dignitaries from South Africa and Zambia.
The planning and proceedings of the whole event can not go unmentioned. The stage the parking the security, the sound and the sitting arrangements were all top of the class.
However, not too many people came. There were a lot of empty chairs especially in the VIP and VVIP sections. This could be because of the price that was a bit too high for most Zimbabweans, or the cash shortage…who knows. However, for those who did find the means to attend, the show was on point.
