“We are excited to announce our maiden nationwide and international tour, the ‘STRIPPED Varsity Tour starting September 23. During the tour we will visit six cities here in Zimbabwe and other international venues,” revealed Takura’s manager, Tannia.

“Takura has proved to be the most promising and bankable new Zimbabwean music artist with enormous export potential on the international scene. The international market is already booking him and wanting him on their stages.

“The tour will be recorded by an international film crew with plans for international broadcast via both traditional and new media (digital) platforms.

“As much as it’s a musical tour, it will be used to showcase and market Zimbabwe’s rich tourism to the outside world.

“All suppliers and service providers, establishments we will visit (clubs/tour venues), restaurants and hotels for accommodation will be profiled and promoted via our tour documentary to outside audiences,” she revealed.

Takura also took this opportunity to let fans know that Soul Afrika is still alive and they will be working on some fresh content as a group.

“Soul Africa is still alive,” said Takura. “We just decided that for now we needed to focus on our solo careers but we will soon be getting back together and continue from where we left off.”

He also added that he would be launching his merchandise line just before the tour kicks off.
