“The Up Close and Personal Sessions have been happening in Harare, and I am excited to be taking them out of the capital city to other places across Zimbabwe”, she added.

The Up Close and Personal Sessions are meant to get Tariro’s fans interacting with her, gain a better understanding on song writing and request some of their favorite tracks from her previous albums.

Tariro’s music has a strong afro-soul feel and exudes influences from artists like Oliver Mtukudzi, Sara Tavare and Tracy Chapman, amongst others.

The musician has shared the stage with Zimbabwean artists such as Oliver Mtukudzi, Stella Chiweshe, Jah Prayza, Victor Kunonga, and Nobuntu.
