Alliance Francaise will host the ‘Tendai’s Arts and Culture Festival’ on October 22, 2016.
This arts and culture festival was founded by Tendai Mufunda, an internationally acclaimed fine artist. It will be running under the theme, ‘Women Empowering Women.’
The idea of the festival originated after Mufunda came to the realisation that there is a need for a platform for women to showcase their work in Zimbabwe.
The day will see performances by top female musicans including Selmour Mtukudzi, Tariro neGitare and Edith WeUtonga.
There will also be a market place were artwork, sculptures, beadwork, clothing and traditional food will be on sale. Tickets are already up for grabs at $5 from Chez Zandi.
