She’s young, she’s beautiful and she’s tipped to take over Zimbabwe’s music scene. Who is this young lady that seems to have touched the hearts of many? Even her mom cried the first time she heard her daughter singing when Tamy was in grade one.

Born Thamsanqa Moyo, the eighteen year old has been singing for more than ten years and has not looked back. She recently launched her official music video of the “Ndibereke” Track from her debut album “The 18th Rollercoaster.” The video directed by Nico Abote.

The video premier was showcased at Moto Republic before a live audience of more than 200 people.

“I think that Ammara Brown has finally met her match the young Tamy,” said a fan who attended the show at Moto Republic.

Tamy is certain that this is just but the beginning. She is planning to learn and work on tracks in Ndebele and other languages and also writing more of her own music.

“I don’t wish to rise because of controversy but through hard work and inspiring others”, she said.

One thing about Tamy always stands out making different from other musicians her age or even older is that she has a live band called ‘The Tissue Band’. The energetic young lady performs beyond her age and when she is on stage you wont believe she is just 18 years of age.
