The classical ‘Neria’ has been given a new life following an impassioned remix of the original 1993 track as Tuku collaborated with multi award-winning South African group, Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
The new feel ‘Neria’ comes with a video which was shot in South Africa.
Tuku recently dropped the video on his Facebook page and it has since gone viral.
Kudos to the producer of this new version as the audio mix is just lit!
The blending of Tuku’s guitar, raspy vocals and the introduction of the synth embedded in the background gives the song heavy weight that provokes thoughts in the listener.
Ladysmith Black Mambazo also came to the party with their solid harmonies which were strategically placed in the well-arranged rendition.
The idea of leaving out other instruments and just keeping it to vocals, guitar and synth, makes the song different from the heavy bangers loaded in the market nowadays.
