Alma grew up doing gymnastics and this resultantly taught him how to create his own style of dance by combining b-boy and gymnastics.  B-boying or breaking, also called break dancing, is a style of street dance.

Over the years he developed the style, and organisations picked up on the talent and began using him in flash mobs, productions and other special events.

In 2011, he was part if national team for B.O.T.Y. and later he began to represent Zimbabwe in in B-boy battles. This saw him travel to Cape Town, South Africa, Zambia and U.S.A. for the World hip hop international.

Jibilika then took note of him in 2014, and made him a co-choreographer and judge. In the same year he became a Zumba Dance instructor.

At 22, Alma ‘Tyro’ Manyika has scaled to dizzy heights in the dance fraternity. He teaches wedding choreography, gymnastics, Zumba fitness, Afro fusion choreography, hip hop dance classes, boxing ( for men and women), dancehall & reggae to lose weight and b-boying or b-girling

“Dancing is a passion for me, I like helping orphans in any way I can, imparting the talents I have to them. I dance to live and I live to dance…”
