Vimbai Mutinhiri , Host and Executive Producer of Africa’s first ever daily entertainment news show, ‘Star Gist’, has officially announced the birth of her new reality show, ‘Miss Vimbai Travels’.
The show will follow Vimbai as she journeys around the world with some of her favourite celebrities. They will embark on different adventures, explore new activities and get into glamorous trouble.
The exquisite Zimbabwean television personality shared the news in the early hours of August 8 on her twitter account. “Yes. It’s official. Catch a sneak peek of my new travel reality show #MissVimbaiTravels on all domestic SAA flights!!! ”
A few minutes later she posted, “So if you’re on a @flysaa flight and you spot my new show #MissVimbaiTravels–take a picture of it!”
Vimbai collaborated with South African Airways to give her fans a sneak peek of her show. An exclusive episode of the show will be available on all the domestic South African flights for passengers to watch during their journey.
On the pilot episode of the show Vimbai is joined by South African Television personality –Minnie Dlamini. The two embark on a trip down town Hartbeespoort Cable Car in Jo’burg, South Africa.
Vimbai says her reality show ‘Miss Vimbai Travels’ will hit the screens soon.

At the age of 15 Vimbai starred in a short film titled ‘Who’s In Charge’. She was also part of Zimbabwe’s first soapie, ‘Studio 263’. As a model she has done campaigns for Zain, MTV Base, and Bio Oil.
She attained a Bachelor of Social Science in Politics, Philosophy and Economics degree at the University of Cape Town. Her career as a Television personality was influenced by her appearance on Big Brother Season 6.
