Anne Kansiime started her African tour this past Saturday, July 2, in Malawi where she sold out the 3500 seater Bingu Wamutharika Convention Centre and then proceeded to Ndola Zambia on Sunday, July 3, where again she sold out at the Zambian International Trade Fair show. In case you are thinking that because you saw her last year, there is no need to see her this year, organisers (Xtratime Entertainment) say that Kansiime has worked on new material and very relevant material to our everyday lives.
Tonderai Mwaita from Xtratime Entertainment said, “There is a lot of stress and pressure these days, so on August 6 bring your family and friends to The Rainbow Towers Hotel, Kansiime will sing, she will dance and she will most importantly make Harare Laugh and forget their sorrows for a moment.”
Also raring to go is Q the Boss who will on the night host the show. Q Dube has matured as a comedian over the years as he has travelled and performed around in the United States of America and South Africa. He is a very funny lad and very intelligent on the mic.
Baba Tencen will be making his debut appearance in Zimbabwe on the comedy scene stage and again he is promising fireworks, this time it will be “Kuripwa Kunakidza”. Probeatz the beat boxer is looking forward to the night of laughter as he has just returned from an exciting tour of Germany Europe in June where he perfected his beat boxing techniques.
Anne Kansiime Comedy night ticket sales have opened and are currently flying like hot cakes, according to Tonderai Mwaita. “Tickets are currently briny sold at Reflections Gift Shop branches in Harare and Xtratime entertainment has worked it out in such a way that patrons can actually swipe to purchase tickets if they do not have cash.”
